New Beginnings……..

1437940979_love_valentines_day_11                         Our site is called new heart = new beginnings

Life is full of new beginnings to all of us.  I am sure everyone will relate.

                               NEW BEGINNINGS

It’s only the beginning now
…a pathway yet unknown
At times the sound of other steps
…sometimes we walk alone

The best beginnings of our lives
May sometimes end in sorrow
But even on our darkest days
The sun will shine tomorrow.

So we must do our very best
Whatever life may bring
And look beyond the winter chill
To smell the breath of spring.

Into each life will always come
A time to start anew
A new beginning for each heart
As fresh as morning dew.

Although the cares of life are great
And hands are bowed so low
The storms of life will leave behind
The wonder of a rainbow.

The years will never take away
Our chance to start anew
It’s only the beginning now
So dreams can still come true.

To my Husband, I love you more than I could ever tell you.

I still remember the day we met, you said “hi there”, and I was hooked.  That was 19 years ago.

Since then, we may have grown  a little wider (ha ha,) and older, but I still think you are the most handsome, kind, plus a wonderful father to our children. What more could a  women could ever want.

Everything that our family has gone through, I would have never been able to do it without you.

Love you

Lynne

A note from Lauren ***

I am honored to be thee Ambassador of Donate Life for my community. Spreading the importance of organ donation has become my new passion. I am one of the lucky ones who actually was able to receive an organ, my heart in time. This is not true for all. Currently, over 123,000 people are waiting, many with their lives on hold to hear those five life changing words, “we have found a match!” while others may never get that second chance, all due to a shortage of organs. Before I went through all I did, I never put any thought into organ donation. So now that’s why I am here to encourage others in becoming Organ Donors!

With sincere love & all my heart,

Lauren

Blogging 101

success_cartoon

This is how I feel after I publish a post.

It’s that moment, right after you hit the publish button.   When I write a post, in the back of my mind, I know people are going to read this.

In my blog, I have been writing about a subject that I am very passionate about.

Let me rephrase that, it’s not a subject, it’s our story.

I make it a point to write a post everyday, and now that I am in the blogging 101 course, I have learned so much.

Writing you thoughts, make you so vulnerable.  You never know who is reading, what they are thinking.  In my post you may agree or disagree with me.  I personally write, to connect with people and to get certain feelings out.

I would like to thank my followers and invite new people to my site.

Please feel free to leave a comment, would love to hear what you have to say.

Do you think you are immortal ?????

“Written in response to The Daily Post prompt Finite Creatures.

DAILY PROMPT
At what age did you realize you were not immortal? How did you react to that discovery?nwhm_hospital_visitation_ministry

I have this question, are we immortal or not.

A couple of years ago when my daughter was very sick in the hospital, I still have a hard time saying, dying, is when it really hit me, dr.’s can’t fix everything.  We are not immortal.  There are some things beyond our control.  Only the Dear Lord knows.  All I could do for my daughter at that point was to just hold on to her and tell her to hang on.

We may not be immortal in body, but parts of us can be immoral for a longer time.

If you are an organ donor, then it can happen.

My daughter Lauren, received her gift of life, a new heart.  The person that was the donor, may have died, but is not completely gone.  Her heart is beating strong in my daughter’s body.  We pray and hope we will meet the family that gave my daughter back her life.  A part of their daughter is still alive in my daughter.

So I guess I am thinking,  if you are an organ donor, would you think you could be immortal.

Something to think about………

Become an organ donor today.

Sunday a day to relax

Today I decided that I am going to devote this day to myself.  My husband took my nephew to the  NASCAR race in Loudon New Hampshire.

They have VIP passes, so here they are on the track.  My nephew Ryan is so excited, not only being at the race but he has his uncle Dean all to himself. They just sent me this picture so I thought I would post it.

My plan is to sit by the pool with a book and take some quite time for me.

The sun is shining, morning housework is done so now it’s time to find that book and relax.

Hope everyone is have a super Sunday.

Friendships, old and new

Friendships……we all have them.  Some are close and some are distant.  Some are family members and some are people you haven never met face to face.

people-holding-hands-around-world-57073

When I think of all the friends I have, my mind thinks of everyone I care about.  I am blessed to be able to say that my husband IS my best friend.

I have 2 girlfriends that I have been friends with for over a decade.  We may not talk everyday or even for weeks, but I know they are there for me and I will always be there for them, no matter what.

My daughter, Lauren calls me her best friend.   We have been through much together.  Not only mother daughter stuff, but just hanging out together.  I feel we have a very special relationship.

Then I have special neighbors I call friends.  Again, I can say I am very blessed to live in the best neighborhood in the world.

And now I have many new friends, that I have met writing this blog.  I can honestly say I know people all over the world.

When I meet  someone who has gone through some life experiences similar to mine, there is a bond we share.  Then a friendship begins.

In writing this post, I  would like to say, it really made me stop many times to   think of everyone I love, family and friends.  I would not be the person I am today without them.

Much Love, Lynne
