During my life, I have realized that every morning we are blessed to be able to start a new day.
This morning, I woke up (that’s a blessing) made a coffee and said “It’s going to be a great day”. I took some time to reflect on my life. I live in a beautiful house, have a wonderful husband and Lauren is doing great.
We have choices, dwell on the negative or embrace the positive. I choose the positive.
After the last couple of years of living in the hospital, not knowing what could happen to my daughter, I found out we live day-to-day. Some are good and some are bad. There are somethings we don’t have control of, but we do have control on how we handle it. Time to put the last couple of days behind me and move forward.
Birds are singing, sun is shining, life is good. I’m sure everyone knows that saying “when you are handed lemons, make lemonade. A little vodka helps also.
So today make it the best day you can have. Remember we all have choices. Do something nice for someone today. It could be just holding a door open, or a simple smile to your neighbor.
